INFILAMENT – WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
This website (Site) is operated by Infilament (ABN 67 864 274 338) in Australia.
By using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use and our
Privacy Policy.
For questions, contact admin@infilament.org.
1. Consent and variations
- Consent: By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Variations: We may change these Terms by publishing an updated version on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law. We recommend checking this page periodically.
2. The Infilament service (PLA waste cashback and recycling)
- Purpose: Infilament is building Australia's PLA 3D printing waste cashback program: you send eligible PLA waste, we process it (including crush, melt, and respool), and you may receive a cash reward or store credit toward our recycled filament spools, as described on the Site and in any program-specific terms we publish when the service is available.
- Site vs program: These Terms govern use of the Site (including the waitlist). If we offer waste collection, payments, or purchases, additional terms, instructions, or agreements may apply at that time.
- Plastic quality: Where you participate in the physical program, you warrant that waste you provide is genuine PLA and free from unacceptable contaminants (for example glue, paint, or other polymers). We may refuse material or adjust or withhold rewards if it does not meet our published quality or inspection criteria.
- Rewards: Cash rewards and store credits are subject to verified weight, purity, and our program rules, and may be changed or described in more detail when the program goes live.
3. Intellectual property
- Ownership: Unless otherwise indicated, we own or license all rights in the Site, its content, and proprietary processes (including extrusion approaches used for our recycled filament).
- Restrictions: You must not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content in a way that infringes our rights or competes unfairly with our business, except as allowed by law.
4. Warranties and disclaimers
- Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Recycled filament: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties about recycled filament beyond those required by law. Recycled plastic may vary in diameter, colour, or processing behaviour compared to virgin materials.
- No advice: Site content is general information only and is not technical, engineering, or safety advice for your equipment or materials.
5. Limitation of liability
- Equipment and use: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infilament is not liable for loss or damage to 3D printing hardware, other property, or injury to persons arising from use of recycled filament sold or supplied by us, or from your participation in the recycling program, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
- Indemnity: You indemnify us against liability we suffer arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your supply of contaminated, misdescribed, or hazardous material to us (where the program applies).
6. Waitlist, accounts, and acceptable use
- Accurate information: You must provide accurate details when joining the waitlist or creating an account (including materials you print with, where asked).
- Prohibited conduct: You must not interfere with other users, probe or attack our systems without authorisation, transmit malware, or attempt to damage or overload the Site.
7. Jurisdiction and disputes
- Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
- Disputes: Before starting court proceedings, the parties agree to notify each other in writing and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith.
