Recycled PLA Filament - 1.75mm, 1kg

Australian 3D printing waste, collected through our partner network, shredded and re-extruded in Brisbane into filament you can print with. Pre-launch: checkout is not open yet.

The short version

Material - Recycled PLA, 10–30% recycled content depending on how much waste we collect.
Diameter - 1.75mm, drawn from 2.5mm past an inline diameter sensor.
Colours - Charcoal and Slate.
Temperatures - Nozzle 195–215°C, bed 50–60°C.
Format - Cardboard-wound refills for a reusable core. Proposed pricing: $15 per kg refill, $22 with a reusable core, $54 for a four-pack.

Impact

Every kilogram of recycled PLA that goes into our spools saves about a kilogram of CO2 compared with virgin material, and is a kilogram of printing waste kept out of landfill. Store credit toward recycled spools is coming later.
